I feel very connected to nature when I work in my gardens. This painting was created after such a time. A personified plant vine from which grows a bud and bloom in a setting of a garden represents a maternal relationship existing between the main elements in the work. This also represents youth and maturity, mother and child, and the interdependance of all living things.
